Postcard Project

If you’ve ever reminisced about an incredible band you saw while looking at a photo that caught the moment perfectly, then you’re already a fan of rock photography. These are the men and women who show up early, stay late, get down in the pit, angle for the shot of the night and wait for the best light. They immortalize a moment most of us can’t believe we are seeing live. A limited run compilation of twenty-three memorable Metro moments through its nearly four decade history presented through the lens of some of Chicago’s most notable rock photographers. In addition 50% of the net proceeds of sales of these postcards will be donated to CiVL Save. CiVL Save is an emergency relief fund created to help out of work venues, their staff and local artists.
